Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of the BugsQA website. Testing work for clients is covered by a separate written agreement that we sign with each client before a project starts.
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Agreement to these terms
This website is run by Camilo Delgado and Juan Camilo Alzate, who run BugsQA together as individuals, from Calle 18A #55-105, Apto 309 C, Cali, Colombia ("BugsQA", "we", "us"). By using the website you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Our services and prices
The website describes the QA testing services we offer. It is information, not an offer you can accept by filling in a form. A project starts only when you and BugsQA sign a written agreement or statement of work, and that agreement sets the scope, price, timeline, confidentiality and responsibilities. If anything on the website conflicts with a signed agreement, the agreement wins.
Prices shown on the website, such as "from" prices and hourly rates, are starting points in US dollars and may change at any time. Your price depends on scope and is confirmed in a written quote. Taxes, if any apply, are added as the law requires.
Testing reduces risk but cannot prove that software is free of defects. We do not promise that an app we test will have no bugs after release.
Using the website
You may use the website to learn about BugsQA and to contact us. You agree not to:
- break the law or anyone's rights while using it
- try to gain unauthorized access to the website, its hosting or our accounts
- run security scans, penetration tests or load tests against the website without our written permission (we are a QA team, so we understand the temptation, but please ask first)
- send spam, malware or automated form submissions
- scrape or copy the website in a way that harms its operation or copies our content
- pretend to be someone else when you contact us
We may change, suspend or remove any part of the website at any time.
What you send us
When you send us information through a form or email, you confirm that you are allowed to share it. We use it as described in our Privacy Policy and treat project details you share before a contract as confidential. We are happy to sign an NDA before you share sensitive details.
Please do not send passwords, production credentials or personal data of your users through the website forms. If you send us ideas or feedback about our website or services, we may use them without any obligation to you.
Intellectual property
The website and its content, including text, design, the BugsQA name and logo, graphics and sample materials such as the sample bug report, belong to BugsQA or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own use in evaluating our services. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission. Names and logos of other companies on the website belong to their owners and do not mean those companies endorse us.
Reviews and examples
The reviews on the website are real client reviews from our Upwork profiles, quoted as written or shortened. Examples, sample reports and test plans on the website are illustrations of how we work, not results from a specific client project. Results depend on each project.
Links to other sites
The website links to sites we do not control, such as Upwork. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them.
Disclaimer
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties about the website, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the website will be error-free or always available. Information on the website is general and is not professional advice for your specific project.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, BugsQA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the website, and our total liability for any claim about the website is limited to 100 US dollars. This section is about the website only. Our liability for client work is set by the signed client agreement. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or gross negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia. Any dispute about the website will be handled by the courts of Cali, Colombia, unless the law of the country where you live as a consumer gives you the right to use your local courts. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to solve the issue directly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you keep using the website after a change, the updated terms apply to that use. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
